The greatly lived life is magnetic. There must be a pull, but once you get close enough, if the poles do not sometimes reverse and there is no pushback, you’ll hardly want to come to it. As the sages said, easy come, easy go.  Jimmy Cliff said it better: the harder they come, the harder they fall.  

No one wants to hear this, but it’s tough out there for a baller.  After a certain point, it’s all easy. You have everything.  Which means you have nothing. 

Not everything has to be hard won.

But the essential elements that make life worth living, the true exercise of passion and choice require tension.
