The restaurant service charge is currently more reviled in America right now than a World War II-era dictator.
Essays, message boards, Google spreadsheets, TikTok screeds, and I’m sure, soon, novels, are currently being written about this scourge.
And most of this effort is just dedicated to places charging “good” service charges. What if told you there was now a restaurant charging a 20% service fee that offered pretty close to zero service?
