There’s a Chicago restaurant with an almost perfect Yelp rating that’s been open for nine months and it’s never been reviewed by any of the major local publications.
It’s only been mentioned in a throw-away line on Eater.
The Infatuation, the JP Morgan-backed content project, which under the leadership of Adrian Kane has creatively established itself at the smart intersection of what Yelp, Instagram, TikTok, Eater, and even traditional papers once did, doesn’t even have a listing for it. This is even more remarkable since I just noticed The Infatuation added Café YaYa (no shade to the Galit boys. I love what they do and YaYa is probably amazing) which has been open for less than 24 hours to their “The Hit List: New Chicago Restaurants to Try Right Now.”
More intriguing this restaurant has a real connection with Hollywood royalty.
