The Five Spot: Fabulous Fried Chicken, Luscious Lobster Rolls and Killer Korean cheesesteaks
Here’s your daily quarantine guide to Chicago take-out and delivery food:
Austin, Garfield Park, Hyde Park, Kenwood, Oak Park
Uncle Remus – It’s a battle as to whether Remus or Harold’s reigns supreme in the Chicago fried chicken wars, but no matter where you go, you’re always a winner. Don’t forget the mild sauce.

Downtown, Lakeview, Lincoln Park, West Loop
Cafecito – best Latinx sandwiches in the city. I’m partial to the chimichurri steak, the ropa vieja, and the Cubano.

Downtown, Lincoln Park, Lakeview, Logan Square, Old Town, Roscoe Village
Brown Bag Seafood – Donna Lee’s burgeoning fast casual empire offers high quality seafood at an affordable price. The lobster roll and truffle parm tots are bangin’. The crispy shrimp tacos also hit the spot.

Bridgeport
Kimski – You need a Korean cheesesteak, aka the Ko-Po-beef featuring bulgogi dripping in muenster cheese. Throw in a side of pierogis, some wings and sausage. Honestly every single thing on the Kimski menu is incredible. This is one of the few times in life that no matter what you choose, you can’t go wrong.
Taco E and Ajo, Nana (brunch on weekends) – By now you’re sick of noodles, pizza, and burgers. Ok, maybe not, but you want something different. How about Caribbean-fare like pollo Cubano or sweet jerk with plantains?
