The Five Spot: Your Daily Chicago Quarantine Take Out and Delivery Guide
Lincoln Park/Lakeview, but available to everyone (Pickup)
Galit – Chicago’s best middle-eastern food, period. And you can take it home! Skip the Sabra and get the Bubbe’s brisket hummus, super creamy, lots of tahini, luscious hunks of beef, and olive oil. It’s a thing! The Balkan stuffed cabbage full of lamb is another star. It eats like harissa-slathered lasagna.

Café Tola – The chicken mole taco is great. If they have pozole, which sometimes they do and sometimes they don’t, I love the verde. Play empanada roulette and get a selection of whatever’s fresh and available.
Uptown
Brass Heart- Lots of omnivore options, but also, vegan eats from a Schwa and Longman and Eagle vet, chef Matt Kerney. Check out the cauliflower tikka masala. If you want to feel fancy, they’re offering $50 multi-course vegan meals for two.

Tempesta Market – One of the best Italian delis in town. Plus, you can score some salumi for later. I love the Dante sandwich, the gem salad and the n’duja arancini.
