Been there 3 times within the first 2 months of their opening, was also there on the opening day, and I found myself still in love with the food at the end of the third time and still yet to have managed to try everything on the menu. And yet, winter is already soon approaching and although I can't wait to see what they'll have for us, it also means I might not be able to try everything on the first iteration of the menu. Oh how well they're doing!

By the way, "San Pedro is basically what might happen if Like Water for Chocolate and Ratatouille had a cinema child" is some English major level writing!

I don't think anyone even announced that they opened (news wise). I just looked over the menu and am drooling. Booked a reservation for this weekend. Been looking forward to this since it was announced. The only time I went to a restaurant on day one and minute one was Duck Duck Goat. Boehm was even working the host stand.

They went on WGN and shared the recipe for their cured scallop aguachile as well, definitely worth watching, it's amazing how much thought they put into it, and all the more worthwhile if you're into cooking.
